LogixOne Operator locations not updating in LogixOne Maps

The LogixOne Operator application sends 'real-time' location data of your operators back to LogixOne via the GPS and network connections on your Operators device.  The operator location within LogixOne Maps will update every (10) seconds and you can click on each operator to see the last known location update location and time.  

This function requires the following:

The Operator must have location sharing for LogixOne Operator App-enabled and must have clicked 'Start Shift'  (If the Operator clicks 'Stop Shift' the location will not update and the Operator icon will change to RED)

Please note: ON AN ANDROID DEVICE - When the app is installed for the first time the user will be prompted to enter the Location tracking type, whether 'Allow all the time' or 'Allow only while using the app'/  The latter is the default.  This means that when the app is not open or being used, it won't send location data back to the CRM.  Therefore if the Operator screen turns off, or the Operator is using another application the CRM will not receive GEO location updates.  You can also see this occur from the backend IF the  little dot next to the Operators name in the 'Operators List' is 'Red'.  This indicates that LogixOne has not seen an update from the Operator for the past 5 mins.  Once the Operator comes back online as in the system starts to receive location updates it will change to a 'Green' color.

To set the device so that it is always sending location data back to the backend ensure the 'Allow All the time' location setting is set. 


In addition The Operator will be asked to confirm location tracking AFTER they log into the app using their username and password.  IF the Operator clicks 'Deny' as detailed below the App will default back to the 'Company ID' screen.
